LEGAL WEDDING
|
Weddings are held from Monday through Saturday We would
need to have copies in advanced & the
originals ones when you arrive to Cancun.
Required documentation for bride and groom: (Religious/non-denominational
Ceremony)
In order to get married In Cancún, there
are a few requirements you must
meet.
At least two working days prior to the wedding date, the wedding coordinator
have to receive the following documents in order to go the Civil Registry Office
to fill the corresponding application out for marriage
WEDDING NOTE:
Peace Justices in Cancun speak English, out side Cancun the Justices do not speak
English, but the ceremony can be translated by a appointed supervisor
There are two forms of weddings performed in Mexico
The Civil Wedding (Matrimonio Civil)
This ceremony changes your marital status from single to married.
Mexico's Matrimonio Civil and resultant Acta de Matrimonio (your proof-of-marriage
certificate) is recognized by the United States, Canada, France, England, Scotland,
Ireland, Germany and most other countries.
The Matrimonio Civil is performed by the Registro Civil via their justices.
The justices perform these marriages in the offices of the Registro Civil or,
for an additional fee, just about anywhere you specify.
The Justices allow the saying of personal vows.
Required documentation for bride and groom: (Civil Wedding)
-Valid Passport.
-Mexican entry visa or Tourist Card (you will get them at your arrival to the
Cancún airport).
-Blood tests
-Original and valid Birth certificate with seal (must be a certified copy).
-Four witnesses (can be provided)
-Divorce decree(s). (if applicable)
The Religious/non-denominational Ceremony
Religious/non-denominational ceremonies are a wonderful way to tie the knot.
These ceremonies do not change your marital status here in Mexico or back home.
If you want to do so later, you can do that with a justice of the peace in your
country of origin, or do both, the religious and the civil wedding here in Mexico.
-Mexican entry visa or Tourist Card (you will get them at your arrival to the
Cancún airport).
-Valid Passport.
-Original Birth Certificates. (Blood test have to be performed here in Cancún.
They must includes: Blood type test, venereal disease test and AIDS test, and
have to be taken no more than 5 days prior de wedding date).
* Final Divorce Official Papers or Death Certificated, if applicable.
* The names, adresses, ages, nationalities, occupation, relationship, tourist
cards and an identification of four (4) witnesses
Two witnesses (can be provided)
Divorce decree(s). (if applicable)
A renewal of vows ceremony is a wonderful way to celebrate your major anniversary.
A renewal of vows ceremony is both a re-affirmation and a renewal - for which
mistakes and regrets can be left behind.
Renewal of Vows ceremonies are often used by couples who married at the courthouse
- who now want a REAL ceremony.
Renewal ceremonies are often given as gifts by children to their parents as a
way of saying thank you - or even in return for all the time and expense the
parents put into their wedding.
Celebrate your enduring love for each other in the most delightful of settings
in a ceremony guaranteed to make your hearts overflow with joy and happiness.
There are suitable poems or readings which are included in the service and if
you wish to personalize the service you can include some personal details or
the reason why you wish to celebrate your renewed commitment to each other.
During the service the original wedding ring or rings are used - or, for example,
an eternity ring may be given as a memento of the occasion.
As a special gift to honor the occasion, you will receive a "Certificate
of Re-affirmation" produced in beautiful calligraphy.

Please note this is only the legal wedding as held here in Mexico. The legal
and religious weddings are held separately and also require different sort of
documents.

Our honeymoon packages were created with the

Prices for these packages include hotel accommodation
(in Bridal Suites if these are available), airplane
and/or ferry tickets, as well as all transportation
costs to and from airports, ports and wherever
else explicitly mentioned (e.g. taxi fares).
Depending on your arrival dates there may be a
number of organized tours available at your destination.
The prices of these tours are not included in the
package. Organized tours are optional. If you wish
to book one beforehand and combine it with a package
you can contact us and we will provide you with
the appropriate vouchers.
