Parque de las Palapas (Bordered by Avs. Tulum, Yaxchilán, Uxmal, and Cobá, Sm 22, El Centro, Cancún) – Friday evenings are popular here with both locals and visitors for the live music featured there (from jazz to Salsa and even Reggae). Given the less touristy, more native Mexican vibe, this is as much a draw for mature crowds (especially Hispanic-Americans) as it is for college kids.
